Simple- .gov is asking its citizens to turn each other in.

Of all the things DHS and the Federal Government do, this is honestly one of the least worrying.

I see nothing wrong with telling people that if you see suspicious behavior, call the cops ... whether its terrorism or someone breaking into your neighbors car, in a free society we all should look out for each other.

That said, when government asks you to "When you see something, Say something" it does feel a little like those Nazi or Soviet propaganda posters admonishing children to report their parents for crimes.

With all these WHITE Islamic Extremist around here carrying backpacks, wearing hoodies and being my neighbors I should call right now! My WHITE neighbor was mowing his lawn on a Thursday and not the usual Friday after work...WHY? What is he plotting, I swear if I see him wearing a hoody Im going to call BIG Sis at DHS!!!

Yep. As intended. Alex Jones from Info wars had a good article on how all (almost all) the good "patriots" were "minorities" and the terrorists were white, particularily white males to be exact.
