We are going to take the kids tonight (grandmas paying and its last minute). I am just curious about CCW? Anybody know, thanks.

Don't you still have to have a permit from a state that they have a resipical agreement with?
Anyway, I am no help as far as the fair grounds go.

as far as the rules on the rodeo grounds: According to Robin at the headquarters, there are absolutely no weapons allowed and all persons are subject to and will be searched.

Yes their are no weapon signs all over but at least to get in to the carni they didnt check any body.

If you're gonna be drinking, leave it in the truck, but concealed is concealed... lots of drunk hicks there (not hating, I am one), I'll certainly carry if and when I go.

They ain't the ones I'm worried about. Most people have their eye on em expecting them to do something and NOBODY there likes them other than their own kind... the guys that "belong" there are just looking for an excuse to cave one of their faces in with a big ol belt buckle and hard-healed boots. A lot of them know this and wouldn't dare try anything.
