Im stuck, anyone have any suggestions, I had a 401 but that has changed with my new employment. Pros/cons of either?

457- can get $ out before retirement without major penalty ...but only after separation from job. Call a financial planner for sound advice. PM me if you'd like a name/#. And no I don't get any kickback.

I know a couple living on their because of unemployment.
