And you can plant a garden when it's done.

Those are pretty cool. I love the quote in the article "this machine tells landmines to BRING IT" :).

Just what the world needs, is us "horrible Americans" making life better for them! Clearing the mines and prepping the land for planting, all at one time? Oh, they'll be talking ugly about us and wanting to kill us all.....

Right? Considering in 1997 Afghanistan had the most land mines per square mile in the world, with Vietnam and Sudan also on that list. This thing is sweet!

Glad to see someone invented something like this. I hope it saves a ton of service members lives. Glad to see they built it like an AK too. High tech can be worthless when there are no parts to fix your toy.

Of course I was being sarcastic. God only knows how many more civilians and children have been killed and maimed by the damn things than there ever were military personnel. Blows my mind that our own damn country refuses to participate in those land mine limitation treaties, or whatever they're called. Land mines are a curse on humanity, IMO. There's probably still live mines out there from WWII.

The base where I was stationed for years..... well when it closed down the Germans came in and scanned the ground using modern technology. They found about 200 pieces of unexploded ordinance all over where we all where living.

Oh I know ron, and the worst part about the leftovers from WWII, some of them are wooden and virtually undetectable by modern mine detection technology. This guy will just eat 'em all up and make the world a safer place.
