"Today the committee estimates at least 1,600 weapons, including .50 caliber sniper rifles, are still out there waiting to kill."
That doesn't make me nervous at all! /sarcasm

I think the DOJ and ATF need to be completely reworked and cleaned up. Where is the big guy with the broom sweep away the trash and make these .gov entities work better and not f*** up everything they touch?

Newell's insistence that guns were not allowed to cross the border drew an angry rebuke from Rep. Darrell Issa, chairman of the House committee investigating the program, who called Newell a "paid non-answerer" at Tuesday's hearing.
"Are they (the other agents) lying, or are you lying?" Issa asked Newell.
wait... we have a rep on the hill with balls?
or was he just posing?

as far as cleaning the system up and holding people accountable, the system is so corrupt that the people involved in cleaning out those guilty are guilty and corrupt themselves.

That makes no f***ing sense! Why would Kahr arms settle? That just proves that they lack a backbone. Suing a gun maker for manufacturing a gun (like the DC sniper gun settlement) that killed someone is like suing Budweiser because a drunk driver killed someone. 110% BS! Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Holy shit thats dumb. What's going to happen here in the future, in my lifetime? Civil war doesn't sound all that bizarre if this bullshit keeps happening.

in reading the article it makes more sense.
They failed accountability of the product within their control.

Danny Nicacio, also known as Guzman, was shot and killed on December 24, 1999, with a 9mm handgun taken from a manufacturing plant in Worcester, Massachusetts, where Kahr Arms is based, according to the suit.
The complaint charges, "lack of theft prevention measures or employee background checks," and "careless inventory tracking," amounted to "gross negligence/negligent hiring and supervision" and wrongful death

I guess it would be like leaving an M4 on your trunk-lid er something and then paying a known criminal or mental delinquent to watch it for you. ;)

Just wanted to point out the obvious.........

I don't think talking of armed revolution is the best thing at this point. I would think that someone somewhere is looking around to prevent a Norway incident here. I know you guys are good people. But just chose your words wisely. For the most part I agree. Sadly nothing lasts for ever and I thank the 2nd Amendment for giving the people a fighting chance.

Right, let's not talk about armed revolution, King George will probably come after us! Byte, you can be Ben Franklin, I'll be Tommy Jefferson, and we just need to find ourselves someone to play Mr. Adams, and Mr. Washington and we've got ourselves a tea party!
