I think I saw this on House!
If he was thinkin clear he could have done the high speed method of a sewing needle and dental floss. If wanted to be super high speed he could have used super glue and cloth strips to help keep it closed too. ;)

Joke all you like, The first aid kit has Duct tape and Super Glue.
I have had to use both on people.
Kinda reminds me of the guy who robbed a bank for a buck just so he could get free treatment.

I've used my shirt as a tourniquet, used thin strips of duct tape as butterfly bandages to hold it closed and super glue to seal it. Then when the homeowner got home I had her stitch it up with a needle bent with pliers (she's a nurse).
Shit works.
