View Full Version : Front sight removal.

Trying to get the front sight extension off my AK bullpup. From near as I can figure the front sight extension is attached via an extended version of the front sight post. However I have tried with several pairs of pliers and lube and cant budge the damned thing loose. Any ideas?

Maybe try heating it a bit with a propane tourch and if all else fails a masive vice grip ;)

Let it soak in penetrating oil for a day or so. Something like PB Blaster, not just plain ol WD40. Then give it another shot. If that fails, break out the propane torch and heat it up a bit.

mcantar is right (i can't believe i forgot about pb blaster) pb blaster is like magic potion haha
