Custom bank card

Pissed at WellsFargo now. I have been trying to get a card made with a custom image on it and they continue to reject it. I wanted a Gasden Flag on it but, nope. Rejected as political imagery and flag imagery. Ok, so I try again without the words. Nope, rejected. So I try this...

All rejected as "political imagery". Fries me to have someone reject an important symbol from our history as inappropriate.

I'll keep screwing with them. Not sure I should base my financial institution on what picture they let me put on my card. It's just one more reminder that so many don't have any respect for our nation's history or how diluted and PC we've become.

If that is your criteria then you may be searching a while for a good bank. And not just the "main" bailout, but many other smaller bailouts before and since then.

I'm a pretty happy WF customer (1st Bank convert years ago). In their defense, you have to keep in mind the kind of credit cards that would be out there if they didn't have the standard (like F*uck the USA or something). Sure to you and I those images are patriotic and tame but if they let that through then the guy who wants to put Muhammad slitting lady liberties throat would have a valid and LEGAL precedent to get their image too.

If it's important to you to have it you might be able to find a pre-paid card company or even the visa gift cards that allow you to have images and then you'll have it in your wallet.

This might be true, but I'm lucky enough to be a USAA member. Although my mortgage is through WF, but not by choice (originally a VA loan sold to WF). I would re-fi through a non bailed out bank if I could.

Nah. Just thought since they let you customize it that'd be what I wanted. I'll put a US Flag on in and call it good.
