Anyone Know About Buying Chilis?

I'm talking about wholesale, in quantity. We're looking to do a fund raiser for the animal shelter and need a source for maybe up to 30 bushels of chilis for roasting.

Anyone know of a source?

We'd also be looking for an inexpensive roaster to purchase or possibly rent.

My cost on a 25# case today is just short of $20.00. that gives you a pretty good starting point. I'll sell them to you at my cost (my company still makes 3%)

These are for Anaheims. If you can find a local farm growing, they may be able to sell for about 60% of that ( trucking companies and packers all get their cut on the way to the distributor)

also, I'll be swinging by restaurant depot later this week, I'll take a peak and see if they have any, and their price for you. Sometimes they have killer buys on stuff, where they are selling for less than we buy it for.
