Personally, I think truck nuts are stupid looking and I hate them. On the other hand I don't think we need laws to cover every little thing that people don't like. And on the OTHER hand (yes I have three, neat huh?) I think if a state has obscenity laws then these would seem to fit into being covered by that law...

Wouldn't big girls that let their shit hang out (50 pounds of meat in a 10 pound bag) be covered also then? Jesus, there are worse things. Again, more people having to bend to the masses of the stupid.

Truck nuts are stupid ... but if they're "indecent" than taking any un-neutered male animal into public is "indecent" as well.

Also, now many meth cookers/dealers, armed robbers, thieves and other real criminals are there in Bonneau SC?

Methinks Chief Fuda needs to start doing his job before worrying about truck nuts.

I wouldn't strap a set on the back bumper of my vehicles but if someone else wants to, more power to 'em. Much like the truck mud flaps with the shiny reclining busty female: not really my style of auto-decor but displaying mere anatomy is hardly "indecent".

We (in my unimportant opinion) have far too many rules/regulations already, we don't need yet more laws. This country is legislating itself into one giant HOA.

Yea, it seems to be a very fine line between what the law is and what it should be. Trucks nuts are stupid IMO, but just like libs trying to regulate via the fairness doctrine - if you don't agree with it then don't look at it.

Truck nuts should be allowed to just stick out below the blue tarp that covers the truck, preferably when parked on the lawn (front yard, of course). I guess they're OK as long as the driver wears a mullet hair-do under a backwards baseball hat.

To me they are right up there with the 'bad boy' decal in the back window - an exquisite combination of tastelessness and stupidity - the ultimate insecure 'white trash' self-label.

Chief Fuda seems to be using his badge to dictate his own feelings on what is/is-not obscene. We should all be so lucky as to live somewhere in which the most pressing issue for law enforcement is a set of imitation bull testicles.

I do hope he loses in court.

I think they are awesome and people need to mind their own business. I don't have them on my trucks but There should never be a law against it. Those of you with any bumper stickers sure as he'll better have the same opinion or it will bite you in the ass when someone complains about your stickers with guns on them and you get a knee in your neck for being a potential terrorist.

Whatever happened to freedom and freedom of expression? Everyone bitches about gun identifying clothes or pens (such as the glock pen) getting kids suspended yet grown adults can't have a set on their own pickup.

Hell, I have been wanting to sue Mac Donalds and WalMart for endangering my sex life since I came in the country.

Truck nuts are tied for first place with Jersey's for trashiness. I think it'd be funny to hang a pair from an office chair, and even then, only for about 30 minutes.


What is that sheriff's email address, so I can email him and tell him that the only thing more embarrassing than putting truck nuts on a vehicle, is having a sheriff try to ban them. That guy should be ashamed.
