I'd like to meet some of the other members and do some shooting this week. Anybody feel like meeting up and shooting handguns at Front Range in Loveland this Thurs around noon?[Coffee]

So what are you into shooting?

Years ago, when I went to Firing Line more- sometimes I would take 4-7 diff handguns to put rounds thru all. Just to make sure they all worked and shot to point of aim! Now I stick to more combat weapons. Today I brought my 220SAR, a custom Series '70 1911, a Ruger Mk2 with fixed sights and my M&P Pro Series 9. Also my LW AR that just got built fer me. I really stick to 9mm and 45 these days, always bring at least one of each- at least 200 rounds for each, also always bring an AR with at least 8 loaded mags. I'm not trying to beat anybody, although I am competitive and tend to sneak a peak at stranger's targets just to see where I stand. Usually I stand pretty well. My friends say I should try competitive shooting or teach. I don't think I'm good enough for either. I'm going to employ that RW McSwain guy shortly for a day to see if he can help me get better. I've seen his vids, I could -maybe- hold his jockstrap. IF he was in a good mood.

I actually didn't shoot the M&P or the Ruger, those were for chickeepoo. Come on guys, this is not just a talk forum is it? Let's go shootin'!!!

Excellent call getting some professional training. Even better getting it from RW. A man among men.

I take about 2-3 classes a year and have been doing that for about 10 years. It just looks like RW would be a step up and a bit more hi-speed than what I have done in the past.
