The website mentions an electromagnetic storm and gamma rays... maybe they are some representation of the effects of those events...

I was thinking satellites maybe? Since they lost power and may fall from orbit, and then break up in the atmosphere? Even though they're held by gravity for the most part up there.

Looks interesting for sure!

The synopsis reads like an alternate universe version of Lights Out.

First I thought this was based on the Deep Winter series. The latest is called Remnant.
Haven't read it yet. I've just finished Deep Winter and started Shatter.

For those that haven't started the series. It's well worth the read :)

Actually I was a contributor for this film It is already done. Not sure if they are going to add more footage to adapt it to folow OSA, but the film actually isn't OSA.

I was given a prescreen version of the movie and a copy of the one they "released" It was actually released last year sometime, for the funds I donated.

It was okay. Not very long about an hour 15 or so. I got the impression early on that it was based loosely on the book OSA. I went into it reminding myself that this was an independant film. Once I got that in my head I thought it was alright.

The funniest thing to me was the guy hoofing around a .50
