Any one going to the air show on Aug 27 and 28th?
http://www.cosportaviation.org/home.html
Looks like this is going to be a 'no gun' event!
Wonder if the bad guys will comply!
I think this is private property!

No weapons and no smoking?... sounds like this is something I'll go ahead and skip.
I think we are bringing a plane up.
Not sure if I will be on the crew or not.
I had to change my post... This is not the airshow at peterson's that sucked horribly last year... This one looks pretty cool.

Nope. Just the guy in back, aka Loadmaster.
I put stuff in the back, throw it out the back and sometimes jump out the back.
I love airshows! I haven't been in a long time, maybe this will be a great excuse to go - so I can see someone throw Hoosier out of the back of his 130 :) (with a parachute of course Hoosier).
I'm at this airport a couple times a week... there are no metal detectors and no signs prohibiting CCW
Show from 3 years ago...

Did anyone else buy their tickets online? I haven't received any info about where to pick up tickets at the show or if they are being mailed out. Anyone know?

My aunt was a Air-Med-Evac nurse with the 502nd in Vietnam, flying on C-130's.

Sorry you're getting us confused. Hoser is the C-130 loadmaster and all around nice guy with the dancing dinosaur.
Hoosier is armchair jockey and computer programmer with the crazy helmet F-35 avatar guy.

Did you ever find an answer to your question Big Wall? Just curious as I am getting ready to order some tickets today.

Yes, I got my tickets. They sent them by e-mail and went to my spam folder where they got deleted. They resent the tickets when I contacted them. If you don't want the brain pain you can buy tickets at King Soopers.
You guys have fun and enjoy the show. I drew the short straw and wont be there.

Thanks for the update/clarification. I was hoping you didn't have to go pick them up somewhere or at the gate which would defeat the purpose of buying online besides saving a couple of bucks.

Bummer for you Hoser guess you'll have to settle for people posting pictures here afterwards. I haven't been to an air show since I was about ten. Think I'm long overdue.

WooHoo!
I just scored 4 tickets for the show off of Tom Martino's show.
I may end up with a spare or two depending on what the kids plans are.
If so I will advise and hook somebody up that wants to go!
