I can go either way. Any shooters for a Sunday shoot? Chaffee will be much cooler than Pawnee but the drive is about 1-1/2 hrs additional. I would like to hit some targets out past 200 yrds so I'm leaning for the hills.[AR15]

do you mean Hwy 85?

Edit: Nevermind, I read sedalia not salida

Edit 2: Does it require an off road vehicle to get too?

Just stopped at TNT Country Kitchen in Morison for a quick breakfast. Should be out at Chaffee by 10:00 am. Anyone going?

I'm impressed! Shooting steal out to 550 without any wind.
Zeroed at about 100 and hitting the armadillo at 485 yards with a 1.8 mil hold over.

A few shooters dialing in for the hunting season and no .223 other than myself. I went over to the shotgun section and ran through about 75 round on the new barrel just to prove it out.

I spent a 1/2 hour cleaning the shotgun area since I was the only one there. I must admit the site is real clean. If everyone were to pick up the pieces of non approved targets that have been left the next group will never see this junk and won't feel it's OK to bring computers and sh!t to blow up.

Had a great time and I will be back!

Sorry but I couldn't make it today. I am planing on a range day either the 13th or 14th, and it seems I might try chaffee out.

Location of targets I was working with. The Noveske 16" barrel was very consistent with it's groups at the 275ish distance that I could see the hits on a clean part of the targets.

Red line points to red shooter targets standing at 675-700ish yards. (Told by other shooters.
Green box is Buffalo at 550 yards.
Blue box is Armadillo at 485 yards.
