"No, ma'am. I don't have a quota. I can write as many tickets as I want."

Or...

"That's correct, ma'am. I don't write tickets to pretty women. Now sign here."

Well, it's not like you can have motorcycle cops do anything else.

He thought he was going to get into sweet adventures like CHiPs...and realized he was traffic enforcement...

I would enjoy watching a motorcycle cop arrest a guy and take him to jail handcuffed on the back of the bike! See how good the guys balance really is!

Actually, they're good for a lot of things that cruisers are not: crowd control, special events, moving through heavy traffic, pursuing fleeing suspects that are not on conventional streets, donut runs... Aurora even has a number of XR650Ls set up for parks and open space enforcement. With their off road capability, they have apprehended a number of suspects that would have otherwise escaped.

When a motorcycle cop makes an arrest, they usually calls in a squad car to transport the perp.

This is kind of off topic, but I've decided that video taping police officers, is exactly the same thing as them running speed traps and DUI check points. It's just one party sitting around waiting for someone to do something wrong.
