Glock .22 conversion

Bought a .22 conversion for my AR and it was hands down the best thing ive gotten for it so good in fact i want one for my glock

anyone have any experiance with this kit

Yes. I have one if it's an Advantage Arms Conversion kit. It likes to shoot wet with thin oil, it must be cleaned regularly or it pukes, and it is finicky about the ammo it will shoot (the cheap Federal copper plated bullets and CCI mini-mags run fine through it). The mags can break occasionally if you are using it regularly and training hard, but they are just plastic.

And I wouldn't sell mine, ever. My kids have thousands of rounds through it and have shot steel challenge matches with it. It's the best, cheapest way to train and teach I've ever found. I've paid it off a dozen times in ammo cost alone.

Yeah. Do it! The Advantage Arms ones are quite good and .22 is a fun way to spend a cheap day shooting.

that would defeat the whole idea of a trainer

with the conv you get to use the same trigger and gun gear that you would normally use if you shoot USPSA/IDPA or steel only diff is the cost of the ammo.

The AA kits are good none are perfect they all have their glitches (as do most guns for that matter) I have one for my 35 it runs great not as realiable as a dedicated 22 such as the Ruger MkII 22/45 but kept clean and lubed it will run with the best of them for a while.

The Advantage Arms conversion kit works very well and it will certainly be money well spent'. The main gripe that I have heard from its users is that, because it is made of aluminum, it does not replicate the weight of the gun; which, to an extent, defeats the purpose of training with the same platform you are used to.

Tactical Solutions has their own version of a conversion kit named the TS TSG-22 which is heavier and replicates the weight of a G17/G22 much better.

You are right; I think AA is the only one offering a conversion kit for the G30SF.

AA is a good system and, like I mentioned before, it is certainly money well spent. Even if there is a weight difference, you will still be practicing the same trigger pull as your center fire gun. You won't regret purchasing the AA kit. It'll pay for itself in no time!
