I searched but I didn't find this topic, so if it has been beat to death please forgive me.
As I troll through the "for sale" forum, I am reminded of the pre-ban Chinese underfolder AK-47 that I sold. I sold it to my buddy for a good hunk of change. A year or so after I sold it to him, I offered to buy it back. He got into some financial trouble and sold it on-line to someone. To this day, I regret selling that firearm.
What do you regret selling? Firearm or something else?
My jeep wrangler, my daughter was afraid of it, now she wants me to get another.
I sold the first AR I had ever bought for $400 in Aug. of '08. I had no choice at the time and could've probably found a better price but emergencies are called emergencies for a reason. Then of course Obongo gets elected and the gun world goes apeshit....[Beer] such is life right?

Sometimes you have to make hard choices. Before my second deployment to Iraq, I almost sold my prestine classic mini cooper. When I told my kids I had some buyers lined-up they started crying. I am glad they did because if I would have sold it I know I would still be kicking myself in the ass.
The AR I sold last week....

There's a lot I regret but fortunately selling a car or firearm isn't one of them. The two things that I can think of possibly regretting if I sold them are my first truck (1971 Chevy C/10, bought it when I was 15) and my first handgun. I don't get attached to stuff very easily though.

Apple stock I bought for $12 a share and that's was two splits ago. At the time I was happy to sell it for $18.

Ohh man, I'm so glad I'm not you. [LOL]
I would definitely regret that.
My youthful idealism...

it was an H Schmidt 357 mag looked just like a old peace maker, fired fantastic
and not only was it a great gun but the day I sold it a shooting went down at my house and that was my only pistol at the time. Had to resort to a shotgun but it was just ironic that it was the same day that I sold my only pistol

also Ford stock at solda 5 bucks after it crashed and i bought at a $1.25 it hit 16 a little while back.
Someone should start a thread about things that you regretted buying. That'd be interesting as well.
Not my sale, but my dad had a Jaguar XJS V12 a few years ago that he sold to a guy up in WY. I'm pretty mad, because looking back I could've had so much fun with that car...

Maybe that played a roll in why Dear ol' Dad sold it!

I take it you never worked on one. And you will work on them with regularity. [Coffee] Of all the Judges and GTO's and TA's I have sold the selling of my 65 wagon hurts the worst. http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac44/jerrymrc/cars/oldgroup374.jpg

I sold a Ruger P89. The gun itself was nothing special but it was the first firearm I ever bought myself. I remember feeling like such a noob at the counter when i purchased it and i was even nervous. Can't replace something that provided so much emotion that seems silly once you have more experience. Sold it for cheap as a favor which makes it worse.
Jerry that is FREAKING SWEET
Oh Jeezus, things I regret selling? Ain't enough space here to list 'em or time to do so.

I've let a Beretta 92FS and a Remington SPS tactical go for money trouble that I wish I had back. My dad also sold our kick ass Jeep CJ-7 back in the day against my will, and he hears about it regularly, especially in the summer time.

I thank ya gang. Most will look and think it is mostly stock but that is not the case. http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac44/jerrymrc/cars/IMG_0010Medium.jpg
I removed trim, I welded almost 100 holes and added the Lemans/GTO grill and hood. Converted to disk brakes and large swaybars. Overdrive behind a 455 and Rally gauges. I mixed my own paint to the color That would still mate with the interior but what i wanted.
I missed one a year ago but still look to try and find another one to build. [Coffee]

I had a Smith and Wesson 686 in .357 that I sold to help the family pay bills. Pawned it for like $300 and always regretted it.

The only two guns I regret selling were a couple of old .25 automatics -- a Beretta Jetfire and a bumper chrome Raven. I almost regret selling my sister's nickle plated Mustang but she really needed the money and I couldn't afford to buy it myself.

Guys, I have both just sitting in the safe, if interest, I'll sell them at a "fair market" price

Sooner or later I've regretted almost every firearm sale. One in particular was a Smith & Wesson M52 38SP auto. It was nothing more than a glorified paper punch, but it sure was fun to shoot.
