Places to buy 5.56/.223 in metro area

So I just found out today I might be going to a rifle instructor course next week and I need ammo. At this point I am not sure of the round count for the week long course, but I do know I need to get my hands on some. I dont have the time to order any so I am looking for places in the metro area that have reasonable prices on 5.56/223. So if you gentleman know of any good deals around let me know.

But Gander had them on sale: Amercan Eagle 100 round packs for $29.99. It was advertised a week ago Sunday, they may still be on sale, it is worth a try.

green mtn guns had 500 round case of federal xm 185 for $189 each. Not the greatest deal but par with everywhere else that is local. Believe they had some cheaper steel cased wpa but didn't check the price. Hope it helps

I know you said you don't have the time to order online, but the best deal I found online was on aimsurplus for ~$289 for a 1000 round case. The cheapest local I found was Murdochs for like $6-7 a 20 round box.
