Sorry to hear things are 'walking off' your table Alxone.
I'm not fond of people who steal. [Rant2]
I can't sit in, but hope the next show goes better.

That extra set of eyes is really valuable especially when you have two, three or four questionable folks (folks that you do NOT know) picking up your stuff at the same time and bombarding you with a ton of questions. That's when things can get real sticky. If just a single table operator (not a FFL guy) with just a couple/few guns on the table, it's usually best to allow only one gun off the table at a time. If the POTENTIAL customer is interested, they won't mind waiting a minute or two until the first gun is replaced. Of course when you have a bunch of stuff other than guns, then it's really a hit/miss situation. I'd never allow anyone on the aisle side to open any of the display cases either. That's just asking for trouble. You lose control of your stuff then you can easily lose your stuff.
Folks have to sometimes be reminded that to swipe a firearm from a FFL is a FEDERAL offense.
When I have a table, which is very seldom, I want to be asked if it's OK to pick up a certain firearm so the potential buyer can check it over. That is just common gun show courtesy and many do not follow. On some rather special guns, I may place a "PLEASE DO NOT HANDLE WITHOUT PERMISSION" card directly on the gun. Some folks will pick up the card, toss it at random and pick up the gun. Where in the hell is the common courtesy.

if you think you can find room [ROFL1] , but seriously i usually have way more stuff than room , so maybe a knife , bayo or pistol i really dont have room for much more than that .well unless it works out like last time when the other vendors did not show and i ended up with 6 tables . if that happens again there will be plenty of extra room

Yeah, I too am sorry that I could not make the show this weekend and spend some time helping Alxone out. Figured I'd better stick around home since our relatives came out all the way from Naperville, IL to spend some time with us. Alex, I'll catch up with you at the next Tanner show (hopefully). Don't forget that I need that info from you. Have fun at the show this weekend and I know that you'll give our fellow CO-AR15 folks your usual great deals. [Beer]
