Best of luck!
I used to work there back in the day! Good luck, the benefits (5% above cost on anything) are sweet. It's an electronics geek's paradise.

No matter what make sure you take the car to a mechanic to check out. I killed more deals then I made happen doing that. Of course the shop I was at was next to colfax and you are hard pressed to find a decent car at one of the colfax used car lots.

Most importantly, he is honest and his prices are fair. He wont sell you a trasmission when you go for an oil change!

It has been a long time since I worked here but when I was here they were pretty honest. Most auto shops will do this for you and it usually costs about 90 bucks. This is worth every penny.

So, are you recommending that he go to Midas to get the car checked out? I just thought it was funny that you said back in the day they were honest, but the majority of the feed back in the link you provided would suggest otherwise

I worked there in 2008 and the guys I worked with were decent guys. One or two maybe bad. Keep in mind this is 2008 though.
And I was not saying to go for a major operation. What it should entail is a test drive. Pushing all the available buttons to make sure they work, popping the hood checking all the fluids, getting it in the air looking for leaks and body damage/body work and checking brakes and steering components. Then a written estimate for everything found on vehicle. It isn't rocket science. But it runs between 80-90 bucks.
And make sure the tech shows you what he found (i.e. point at it).
ETA: Not all the shops can be like the one I ran/worked for the last two years where one out of ten reviews were bad and the rest glowing.

The interview went well, he said they will probably call me in for a second of three. Hopefully they like me. They seem to be interested in me working in Home Audio or fixing computers. I dont really care as I would enjoy either.
Also thanks for the heads up on the mechanics. Any other advice would also be great. Thanks guys!
Also these guys have a 5 star rating with 6 reviews and they do jeeps specifically and are right next door to me pretty much.

If you cant find someone you trust are willing to take it to let me know. I do not have a lift but I can give it a once over if you like.
It is amazing how many interviews you have to go through these days to get a job.

I was gonna say the same thing also. Maybe tmleader can look it over for mechanical and I can look at the body, I have been in the Auto body industry for 21 years now and I am an avid Jeep owner.
Good luck with the second interview!

Second interview went wicked well. Guy really liked me. Said they would call me to schedule the 3rd interview with the GM. Maybe next week as they have a lot of meetings this week. Just waiting for the call. Also dropped an application in at Kenneth Cole, dont know why, I was looking for a dress shirt and they seemed excited for me to work there. Have an interview with them tomorrow at 11am lol
Anyway! Hopefully Ill have something concrete soon!

Only 15? Haha!
Honestly once Im working 40 hours minimum a week. Its gonna be Rent, Car payment, Insurance and paying off my credit cards. Once my cards are paid off I can then start to slightly enjoy my hobbies. Right now Im just trying to cement my new life out here and have a steady day to day plan.
Geico quoted me at 130 a month for insurance on that Jeep I want. Ridiculous!
Also if any mechanics or anyone wants to look at the jeep in their spare time its in south denver at family car and van or w/e. I will probably be going to look today so message me if you wanna meet up to look at it! Thanks guys!
Lets hope I can atleast get part time work somewhere!
Jack I can probably go look at it mid afternoon sometime with you if that would work
