I can do that with my Glock .45ACP and an extended 4 port barrel, and laser grips. [AR15]

I’d like to go out and shoot at some distance with my 300WSM just to test myself. But not with the 50BMG, might be a little expensive after the first couple shots.

I would be open to that as well. Maybe not on the scale that they had it, but maybe 1/2 mile possibly 3/4 mile targets???
I know there are 338 and bmg owners out there, but possibly gearing something towards the 7mm and 300's of the world?? (BUT big daddy calibers are always welcome!)
I'm envisioning a "basic" outline of what they had but a smaller scale...not even to that extent (where they had a target cam, but that would be cool if we could get something set up like that)
Who's possibly up for that???
There's probably something like that already established locally?? If so do you guys mind some tag-a-longs?? (not "competition" atmosphere, but something very informal where I could bring my 4 yr old and it won't be frowned upon).....
ANY ideas are much appreciated.
That first hit was amazing!

NRA Whittington Range down at Raton, NM. Kind of a long drive but they do have a 1,000 yard range where .50's are welcome. I figure it's worth the drive to be able to fire off the .50 and not have someone on my case about shooting such a biggie near them.
I've shot the .50 up @ Pawnee.. only out to 250 though.. that's a hell of a walk :)
But I'm totally down for going to throw some heavy lead down range. [Beer]

That was cool, I love listening to the flight times and seeing the difference when the .50 hits the target compared to the 6.8. Dayyyum.
I was amazed he made a hit (headshot at that) with 6.5 CreedMoor at a mile. Funny how they barely even knew since it hit high and center on a hanging steel. They barely move when you do that and at a mile I can imagine their spotters had a hard time picking that up. Wow. Impressive to say the least. I've hit over half that distance with .260 & 6.5CM but anything further than that and I've switched to .338LM. Never even thought that the 6.5CM would be an option at a mile but now I want to try it.
