Where did you get that stock? And what brand?? Very nice!!

I got it off the M14 forums "used"... It came off a M21 and now it's mated to my Super Match... so technically makes "Big Red" a M21, but running the serial number through SAI will tell you different. I understand that Boyds stock make these specifically for Springfield Armory's M21. Like how Vltor made the CAS for the M1A SOCOM2, and kept it from being sold without buying the whole rifle... but I heard that if you gave Springfield a call about purchasing one they'll be more than glad to sell you one. That's all just speculations..

I'd pull the sling off the bipod and throw it up there on the rail. I've seen them give and it's not pretty, especially with the 11lbs (+) of rifle you have there.

I'd pull the sling off the bipod and throw it up there on the rail. I've seen them give and it's not pretty, especially with the 11lbs (+) of rifle you have there.

Yeah... I went cheap on that didn't I?[Coffee] I'll work on that... I wasn't sure if I was sticking to this stock, cause I was thinking of buying a McMillan ADJ3 stock in the near future... but yeah, I need to work on that before it falls on me [Beer]

Have you put any thought into getting some flip up iron sights? I always had a irrational fear that if my optics failed, I would be SOL.

I'll post my prior M1A family..they all grew up and went out on their own. I miss them...

I want to get another one with a heavy barrel, no lug receiver and mate it with a SAGE stock... very nice Family of M1's [Beer]

It's a M21 stock that Boyds builds for SAI... it's factory... I got it off the M14forums for $350.00[Coffee] Technically it's an M21, but still a Super Match in the inside (serial#)[Tooth] c'mon sneakered! I remember that beautiful scout you have there... I saw that thing and said "dang"... [Flower]
