Does any one know how to take light scratches out of a high polished nickle plated gun, any info would be great I have flitz liquid polish I am not sure if that will be good for the finish. Also what is the best type of rag to use and the best polish, this is not a shooter the slide has never been pulled back and I will never fire it. Thanks

Cloth diapers are the softest for polishing.
As far as the scratches you are more than likely stuck with them. Anything that is abrasive enough to get the scratches out will harm the finish.
Flitz or Simichrome if you want to try though.

I'd say don't do it. Nickel is really easy to screw up.

Is there someone I can bring it to, and what would be the best material to store it on and the best way to clean it to avoid more scratches? Do I use oil and a certin kind of cloth, I have never had a pistol with this high of a polish and it is frustrating cause I dont think it had them when I got it. It is kind of like black paint when it is really clean you can see alot of little scratches but if you look at it from a different angle it is fine.
