I got ID'd at the store when I went to buy silverware lol
Well thankfully no one was injured by a firearm...
I'm reminded of a quote, and if someone can attribute it to some famous person by all means throw it in:
"When you ban firearms those who wish to do harm or defend themselves will find another means. Then you'll have to ban knives, then you'll have to ban bats and clubs, then pens, and before long you've banned anything that can be remotely used as a weapon."

So you're saying this thread (http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44047)would be a problem for law enforcement then?[Tooth]
This took place on the island of Jersey.
Jersey isn't a part of 'Britain' and has its own laws, including firearms laws.
You can own centrefire rifles and handguns on Jersey.
Other than that, good point, well made.

''Jersey is a very safe place and events of this terrible nature are very rare," he said.
so is america. luckily we can use knives AND guns to defend ourselves.
First murder since 2004, when a 19-year-old man originally from Northern Ireland tried to rape, then kicked to death, a 35-year-old nurse outside her home.
Obviously shoes and knives need to be registered and controlled. Perhaps a ban on open wearing of either and permits to conceal both.
Mental illness is tragic and often spawns more tragedy.
