Where can I get a kit, how much does it cost and who does 74 work in the Denver area? As I dont actually have any tools of my own :3

My brain might be a bit addled with lack of food tonight, so let me know what Im missing from this train of thought!

You want to build a 74? As in AK-74?

if you want to build an ak74 then i advise using a kit from apex gun parts. the wood furniture kit i got was aparently unfired and very nice. they also have plum poly furniture sets and polish tantal kits. as for a barrel, what a country has brand new bulgarian take off barrels that come already parked, and ak-builder is the only way to go for a receiver flat (in my opinion and if you go the flat route) also nodak has a good deal ok some nice over run receivers

Yes an AK-74.

So I need a kit. A barrel and a receiver.

I forgot but ak-builder also sells kits with built and headspaced barrel assemblies, knowing curtis (owner of ak-builder) they will be of the best quality. For a new bulgarian take off barrel go to whatacountry.com also besides a barrel, kit and receiber you will need rivets ak-builder is a good source and if you want apex has bulgy 74 left side optics rails

Or you can go the route of the polish Tantal. I built one a few years back and kits are still out and about. Great rifle just had to toss that wire stock.
