How many F#$%^&n times with in a 2-4 hour peroid do you need to BTT your for sale item!!!!!
Some ads are BTT within the same hour, go visit a porn site and relax for 2-3 minutes b4 bTT'ing. Seriously if you're that hard up to sell the damn thing put a reasonable price on it.

I usually give my ads at least half a day if not an entire day before I BTT.

What sucks is when, I BTT, and then come back a minute later to find my add bumped almost entirely off the page because apparently bumping mine back to the top put everyone in panic mode right below me and caused a bumping frenzy.

... sounds kinda dirty.

I think the site rules say only 1 (one ) BTT per day, Can one of the MODs confirm this or tell that I am full of ... Well you know. So that I can do multiple bumps per day on my next for sale ad.

And if the rules are one bump per day, start punishing those that violate the rules.

If someone is too retarded to see my gun ad by looking on page 2, I probably don't want to sell them a gun anyway.

This is where the mods need folks like you to click on the "Report Post" icon (http://www.the370z.com/images/370zforum/report%20post.PNG) and let us know what's going on. The mod & Admin team can't catch everything and with the number of posts/threads to go through every day just in the Trading Post forums alone, we're certain to miss excessive bumping unless you help us to police the site. The fact of the mater is that we really can't do it without YOUR help.

A seller may (and is expected to) respond to any inquiries in a timely manner in their Trading Post threads, but by site rules is only allowed to bump a thread once a day.

xiv. Sellers are allowed one (1) bump per day. no reason for any more.

Everyone posting a thread in the Trading Post has read and acknowledged these rules. If someone is found bumping a thread more than once per 24 hr period one or more things may/will occur:
(1) the additional bumps will be deleted
(2) the thread may be removed - permanently
(3) the poster may receive a minimum 2 week vacation from the site for their rules violation (don't act surprised about this one folks - it's clearly stated in the Please Read, and acknowledge thread).

ANY violation of the rules, will result in a minimum two week suspension of board privileges

Anyone having memory issues with this information who posts in the Trading Post forums may wish to refamiliarize themselves with the OP in the Please Read, and acknowledge (http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33477) thread.

?? You don't have one of those icons in the top/right corner of each post in the thread? It should be just to the right of the thread post number.

3 days before a bump is plenty.
even 24 hours is too much
the same people are still on, it takes a while for people to read it

ill bump every day or 2 , or if there are a ton of sold or locked threads in front . i wonder about the 3 and 4 pages of bumps buy some sellers . really ? if its not selling/trading maybe your price is to high or just maybe nobody wants to deal with you so put that one away and move on . also why would someone buy a gun off another forum member and then post the same gun up at a higher price ? thats just rude , especially when the second sale not only comes with a higher price tag but the second seller wants you to drive damn near to kansas . of coarse this same seller thinks my gun is worthless but his is gold . but then that seller gets the worthless gun and now its worth gold ? ugggg i need to stop ranting

Agreed, and some of the best deals are on page 2. I am almost done with my 2nd purchase here and the 3rd is in the works, just have to wait for the checks to clear. I figure that by the end of September I'll have added an SKS and a Mini-14 to my toys. I was always a pistol guy and am excited to enter the rifle world.

Not unless you are reporting a post made by one of the mods of the forum you are making the report on. Only the mods see the "reported post" messages (I'm notified via eMail, not on the site, not through a PM or anything like that at all.).

I'm not saying it applies to anyone here, but SOME folks can be downright nasty and might want to seek retribution.

Some folks do not like to be tattled on even if they did break a rule. I really do not care to have some dipshi- get all pissed off at ME because I turned him in for some rule breaking post.[Twist]
Guess I'll just keep my damn mouth shut and stay neutral if that meets the approval of theGinsue.[Tooth]

Yes! The second you hit the report button, your name, address, job location and social security number goes directly to the person you are snitching on. It's only fair.

This is correct. The Constitution states that you have the right to face your accuser. In fact, the "Report" button sends your message directly to the person you are reporting, and only CC's the moderator.
