Going camping this weekend and would like to bring my new toy. Checked my usual places and called my "damn I can't find this anywhere" places, nobody has any in stock and most don't even carry it.
Where are yall getting yours from?
I bought a few rounds off this board. Maybe there is still some around. Do a search.
If not hit me up I'll sell a few rounds to you for a reasonable price. But not all of them.
Did you try 5280?
At one time the did carry the sardine cans of 750 rnds. Plus they did have smaller quantities also.

Try Dad"s Wholesale. Don is a good guy and usualy has most every thing in stock!! He's around 58th and Washington.
I've never seen Jensens in Loveland not have some.

It sounds like you're talking about getting some in your hands today. But if you had time to order online SG ammo has the best price I've seen:
http://www.sgammo.com/product/surplus/440-rds-762x54r-russian-military-surplus-148-grain-light-ball-ammo-no-crates
$70 per spam can if you buy 2. $74 otherwise. And shipping isn't bad.
edit: I see you're in Centennial. I'm in Englewood near Orchard and I-25. I'll sell you 40 rounds.
I also suggest you stock up on it from one of the online sources, like AIM, J&G, Century, etc., etc. The Mosin Ngant rifles are getting pretty popular and people are buying up that surplus ammo.
Not that I'm one of them or anything.[Coffee]

I usually order it online - I seen that S&G the other day too, beat out Sportsmans Guide by 20ish dollars on an 880 round case. It comes in 440 round spam cans - and get the Russian surplus kind if you can find it(both S&G and Sportsmans Guide have it) and avoid the damn Yugo or whatever laquered ammo (or any lauered ammo). Got my bolt stuck and I had to actually lay the rifle down and stomp on the damn bolt to open it - now I need to respray my stock with more bedliner LOL.

That's Metric. In America we go by the shitton.

Just made a bulk 12g order from those folks, quick shipping and great prices, especially on bigger orders.
