Hey Guys-
Just became the new chair of the Evergreen Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. Took over from the previous chair would didn't have the time anymore. Our next banquet isn't until May. We meet once a month at 6:30PM, on the 3rd Thursday of the month at Beau Jo's in Evergreen. We basically get together and plan the next banquet (which is a lot of fun), while drinking beer and eating pizza. Its a good group of guys and gals. Mostly waterfowl hunters, but not exclusively.
If you're interested in joining our Chapter, please send me a PM. Our first meeting since our last banquet is tonight. You do not have to be from Evergreen to join our chapter. Heck...I live in Lakewood. Plus, the Evergreen chapter is always in the top 5 CO State chapters and was in the Top 100 in the nation last year.
For those of you not familiar with Ducks Unlimited, its a wetlands conservation organization. Here's the organization's mission:
[B]Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.
Its a fantastic organization and we'd love to have you join us!
