The first step is admitting it, right? I'm addicted to two websites, Woot and 1SaleADay - I check them every day and most of the time they have junk, but sometimes there are interesting things on there (like getting some really nice Black & Decker flashlights with rotating lamps for $1.99 each or mini tool kits for $1.00 each).

Anyway, Woot has something interesting today, it's a S&W rail mount light for $39. I figured I would share my addiction with the crowd today since it's forum specific.

Probably :). I'll buy something once every two weeks or so. It's not unusual to see a 32" LCD TV go for $129 or something. It's all overstock or discontinued stuff but most of the stuff I get from those sites is pretty good. I picked up some pan/tilt/zoom web cameras for my offices from 1SaleADay and they are pretty awesome, and they sold for 75% less than Amazon. In fact the cameras were so good that I bought some full price off Amazon after using them for a while.

From what I've read about this light, it's pretty nice. A couple of gun forums were talking about it and said the controls are well placed and it's pretty bright. I'm thinking of picking up several since the regular price is $79.

Some of my coworkers are hooked on steepandcheap and check for deals constantly.

I keep looking at the classifieds here and a few other firearm websites and have missed some great deals by just a few minutes, still trying to get a good one.

I forgot about Steepandcheap, I'll have to add that to my daily check ins! I did pull the trigger (yes, pun intended) on three of these lights though. For the price, why not? I could rig up my AR to be tacticool and put all three plus a couple lasers on it and it'll look like Rambo is coming your way :).

Good luck with that light. I had one on an M&P compact .40, and it stopped working after one box of ammo. Returned it and picked up a Streamlight TLR-3.

UPDATE: I just got back from the Caribbean and my buddy picked the lights I ordered up off of my doorstep, these are NICE for the price! Super tight fit on my rails, super bright and awesome placement of the momentary on/off switch. I ordered three, threw one on my Saiga 12 side rail and it lights the room up. Next time these come up, I'm getting a few more!
