View Full Version : Sprint Problems? No Co
Was wondering if anyone else with sprint is experiencing no signal/very low signal mixed in with high. Been getting all kind of dropped calls which is a new one to me. I'd say it's just my phone giving out but the blackberry at work has been wonky too.

I've been having some trouble here in Denver seems like since that update, I'm thinking it's the phone
Wasn't there something about solar flare ups or somthing like that?
Its possible that it could be causing interferance somehow.

We have sprint phones for work and they are not working very well at all. Started a month or so ago, dropped calls, strange messages, cant connect etc. You can talk to someone for 5 minutes then the call drops and you get a msg saying "cannot connect call at this time" etc. But you usually show full signal strength. It sucks!!!
But my Verizon personal phone works great [Beer]
Same thing been dropping calls lately too. little less frequently after the new droid software update though still happened twice today though

Sprint is the network provider for work and as far as I'm concerned they're terrible. No connection in ridiculous places when my Verizon phone works just fine.

Ya, here to in Boulder County area. Dropped calls and one bar at times. Called it in a month ago, they are upgrading tower from what I was told. It has gotten better, but still happens regardless.
Wonder if I can get a discount going in since it has been inconveniencing me with talking to the lady from other thread. (Should really update that with a roller coaster of events.)

Yes there are all kinds of problems in the Longmont area. I work for a large business in Longmont and we are having serious issues with all of our Sprint and Nextel phones.
If by NoCO you mean the Fort Collins/Loveland area my wife, my mom & I haven't had any change in service. I was in Greeley the other day and it seemed fine and my wife was in Boulder over the weekend and didn't mention any issues either. All three are Evo 4G's and two of those are rooted running custom ROMs. We had some pretty serious solar flares but I think that was a couple weeks ago and I'm not sure if we're still experiencing issues from them or not. If that's the case there's not much you can do about it and it will be sporadic. What phone are you running? Could be your equipment too.
