View Full Version : fnh 45 tac vs comp vs usg
so i have seen a lot of stuff on fnh's tactical, competition and usg lately. another board member let me check out the tactical. ive watched videos and read up on all three, but im curious, whats with the large price differences? i see the tac has a threaded barrel and high sights. the competition has different sights. the usg has normal sights. but is anything else different? i don't see how the usg goes from like 600 to the comp at 950 if sights are the only differences. anyone know?
Night sights, threaded barrel, and cut to except the provided mount to put a doctor rds on top.
A lot cheaper than doing it yourself.
but whats the diff between the comp and the usg besides the fiber optic sight? sure it has the mount on top too, but those two things don't seem like $400 worthy

I shot a tac last week and they are a smooth runner. 15+1 in a 45 makes for a big frame and grip.
howd the recoil treat ya?
I own a Tac model and either going to buy another one or a comp model. Grip size with the small backstrap does not bother me even with smaller hands. Recoil is soft IMO.

Good to hear, I am considering the tac model along with the FiveseveN now. Havent made up my mind but I like both, would probably get both if I were an even well off man, but alas I must choose just 1. Probably end up being the one I find the better deal on. That and the fact suppressors are supremely expensive may assist the decision.
