There are times when its ok for a grown man to cry.....this is one of them

Absolutely man's best friend. Godspeed
Women and cat lovers exclusively couldn't imagine "whiskers" doing that for them.
If this was me my dog would have waited until I looked good and asleep and crawled in the coffin. Then pushed me over to the edge until I about to fall out.
Dogs are so cool!
I saved a dog from the wilderness once, she was the best ever. I really believe she has come back in my new dog as they have the same quirks.

Very heart wrenching. Yes, if we show them love and kindness our pets are definitely our fmily members and best buddies.
Rest easy Petty Officer - you are relieved of duty.

RIP Hero....
I was doing good until the last part of that video when they showed the dog. Doesn't appear that he had any kids, but he knew what is was like to be loved like he did.
Crap, there fo the allergies again....

Yup, the allergies are in full bloom.
The most honest relationship you can ever have is with an animal. No pretensions, no deceptions- just dedication and unconditional love.
P.S.- please don't twist this post into a "Gee, I was just helping the sheep over the fence" thing. It is a thread due reverence and the loyalty of a trusted companion lost.
Benadril isn't helping with "the watery eyes" but a shot of whiskey toasted in his honor helps a little.
I don't get it BT? What does helping a sheep over a fence mean?
