In his speech in China a few days ago, the VP made disturbing statement concerning China's one child policy. Appears he condones the brutal and barbaric practice of forced abortion.

I have never heard Biden say anything that makes any sense. I think he was selected to provide a distraction from the real damage that is being done.....kind of a sideshow (sorry Sideshow) :)

I don't think punishing or destroying those who have harmed us or were captured on the battlefield trying to harm our soldiers as human rights abuse.

I will be operating in a hostile environment this time next year. I understand there is a risk of being captured. I know I will likely be tortured if captured. Will I like it? No, I'm not that much of a masochist. But I certainly expect it, and understand the reason for it.
I'm their enemy. They want information about our operations, and will try and force them out of me via pain. Likewise, they are our enemy. We want information about their operations, and will try to extract that information via physical and psychological stress/pain.
Its part of war. Just like collateral damage. War is ugly, period, end of story, Nothing nice about it, and no point trying to pretend there is. Those who can't accept that, will suffer at the hand of those who do.

Now that I think about it you could be right. With anybody else I'd think "but why would they want to torture an average citizen?" but then I remembered who posted that. I'm a pretty skeptical guy myself when it comes to big gov't things, but every post I read from Bushy further solidifies my impression of him as a short stocky guy with thick glasses and a really big tinfoil hat.
