NRA Basic Pistol Class September 17, 2011

I will be conducting an NRA Basic Pistol class in Colorado Springs on Saturday September 17. This is not a tactical class, but rather a Basic Pistol class.

This is a class for people who want or need live fire training. This course is 10 hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA's rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety (http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42867#) Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.

This course meets Colorado's requirements for CCW training.

The course is normally $125, but if you tell me you saw this on the CO Ar-15 Forum, I will discount (http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42867#) the price to $100.
