Why are we so nice to out-of-towners?

It is constantly people moving here from some other crap-hole state, and they don't want to integrate and they miss what they had there. Yes, it is better here in Colorado than the shit-hole you moved from. That's why your here. But if you want to live here you need to change and quit being from wherever the hell you came from, or go the hell home.

We are way too nice to out-of towners, "Hi welcome to Colorado, come take our jobs and drive up our housing prices, your welcome!"

Point in case: Red Wings fans! I saw a guy at the Pro Bicycle Challenge this week running with a Red Wings flag and jersey, WTF! Wrong sport wrong town dumbass. And we Colorado pussies did nothing to him (we probably bought him a beer) when we should have kicked his ass and burned his gay little flag. And dont get me started with Raiders fans!!! And the freakin' Texans, get that flag off your junk or go home.

Second, I am from Missouri, a state that is far more conservative than CO. That being said, here in CO, I am still trying to adjust being surrounded by so many liberals, illegals, and those who are here but don't speak a lick of English (legals or illegals). Third, yes I am complaining about one thing ..... SHOOTING RANGES !! .... To be specific, state run public shooting ranges. Where I came from, you can find one with 25, 50, and 100 yards within 30 minutes of driving. In fact, they had two within my last residence in MO. Here in Front Range .... I have not heard of one within 1 hr drive.

Fourth, I am still shocked by the outrageous price private club charges people for membership around here. Like $700 a year ... OMG ... are they really trying to kill the 2nd amendment in this state?

Fifth, this is an observation .... .yes, you guys allow WAAAAYYYY too many fuckers from Commiefornia to move here and ruining this state. I run into these types everyday at work. They left Commiefornia because of the economy, taxes, and crimes ... yet, now that they are here, they try to turn this place to be exactly like Commiefornia. WTF?

Sixth, I don't watch sports nor am I a fan of any sports team. So I won't shed any tear if the Broncos lost or whatever. I just don't care about the Broncos, or any team for that matter.

Personally, I would like a Colorado Border Patrol with walls and gates and tourist visas for people from out of state to come visit, drop their money and be forced to leave! I would make the same requirements for companies to recruit from outside the state as it would be for federal immigration visas; you must have a skill that cannot be found in the local area for you to be able to migrate to Colorado. We have limited resources, land, air, water, to allow non-controlled immigration!

I must say I agree with you, immigration needs to be controlled. As an immigrant myself, I had to prove to the US Gov. that I am worthy to have a permanent visa to live and work here. I must prove that my skill set is rare (and it is). Don't forget to make mandatory background check ... and I mean a deep background check that goes all the way back when you were 14 yrs of age. The background check that I went through makes the NICS check looks like peanuts in comparison.

No arguing there, Missouri has some of the most fucked up weather in the country. But, I am used to seeing lots of green vegetation, woods, tall trees, and thickly grown grass. These things are not that plentiful here in the Front Range area. I miss walking in the woods in the Ozarks. Another thing that takes some getting used to in CO is the dry air .... cannot say I like Missouri's high humidity, but it takes some getting used to with the dry climate. I guess the dry climate is good for storing firearms and ammo.

I moved to CO from TX... But I am from neither and in the military. I was going to get my plates changed from TX to CO until I found out TX offers plates with a Gadsden flag on them. So I decided to get those instead. And I like to drive in the fast lane.

I am new to CO. Just moved here 2 months ago.

First, I did not take anybody's job. The company that hired me did a national search for someone with my qualifications. If you have a Ph.D. in electrical engineering with years of R&D experience doing remote sensing and geospatial intelligence, and you are from CO, then sure, you may feel that I stole that job from you. Otherwise, go pound sand.

Second, I am from Missouri, a state that is far more conservative than CO. That being said, here in CO, I am still trying to adjust being surrounded by so many liberals, illegals, and those who are here but don't speak a lick of English (legals or illegals). Before you call me racist, .... I am from a minority group who is never accounted as minority (yes, I am Asian).

Third, yes I am complaining about one thing ..... SHOOTING RANGES !! .... To be specific, state run public shooting ranges. Where I came from, you can find one with 25, 50, and 100 yards within 30 minutes of driving. In fact, they had two within my last residence in MO. Here in Front Range .... I have not heard of one within 1 hr drive.

Fourth, I am still shocked by the outrageous price private club charges people for membership around here. Like $700 a year ... OMG ... are they really trying to kill the 2nd amendment in this state?

Fifth, this is an observation .... .yes, you guys allow WAAAAYYYY too many fuckers from Commiefornia to move here and ruining this state. I run into these types everyday at work. They left Commiefornia because of the economy, taxes, and crimes ... yet, now that they are here, they try to turn this place to be exactly like Commiefornia. WTF?

Sixth, I don't watch sports nor am I a fan of any sports team. So I won't shed any tear if the Broncos lost or whatever. I just don't care about the Broncos, or any team for that matter.

Seventh, I don't care if people are not nice to me. I am a well paid, tax-paying, law abiding, conservative thinking professional. And I know damn well that this state is better off with me being here.

We are waay to over populated, just look in the mountains- specifically Evergreen, we're a town of over 25,000 now, but most of our roads were designed for a population of less than 10,000. Now there is no f*cking way to upgrade because of the terrain and current residential development. I hate the traffic, especially on I-70WB going from Lakewood to Georgetown, and let's not forget that cursed ski traffic going East back into Denver! I hate I-25 with the burning fire of 1,000 suns. I hate going to movies at Colorado Mills, The Denver Pavilions, and Highlands Ranch on opening night because of the 200 people that wanna cram in there and you have to arrive 1hr early (which is impossible for my friends to achieve). I hate waiting in line for 6 goddamn hours just to renew my license (I've done online once and they use your old picture- eff that!). I hate 6th Ave WB coming out of Downtown because of all the retards that drive too slow in the left and middle lanes- we're talking 5-10 under the limit. And finally, I hate how we went from an awesome red state to a libtard supporting, dickinpooper electing, Obama and the DNC hosting state! Fuck.... It's getting too crowded and I wish we could just deport all the illegals, libs, and vegans.

Side note: Support whatever sports team you want, I don't care, I love my Avies, Broncs, Nugs, and Rockies... and who the hell are the Outlaws? I know of the Mammoth and only have been to one game, I view lacrosse as the poor-man's hockey.

About the only jobs available are DOC so the average income isnt that much, I think I read that the Median is $34,000-42,000 it tops out.

That and the roads are absolute SHIT, but when you drive by 5 prisons and a couple brand new facilities you know where the tax payer funding is going.

Thats about it, if the city had a public works and actually maintained the right-of-ways it would be nice. Other than that its a nice town.

Sorry but DC has the absolute worst drivers in the nation. I've seen people cross 3-4 lanes of traffic to grab an off-ramp in about 50 feet, take a left turn from the right hand lane (on 4-6 lane highways), use the emergency shoulder as a passing lane (to bypass a half-mile of parking lot traffic), etc.

The bad drivers in Colorado seem to me to be transplants who can't get it through their thick skulls that this isn't New York, DC, Florida, Kalipornia, etc. The natives know how to drive in snow but a lot of transplants can't (not something I have a lot of sympathy with since I can drive in snow despite growing up in Hawaii).
