You ever go to WalMart? Its RIDICULOUS. From the people that are there to the lack of assistance.

Whats that you say? You only shop at 10pm or later to avoid lines and the "Zoo-like" HYSTERIA of old women immpatiently pushin past you or standing in front of the rack youre trying to look at? Or the lolly-gagging mother of 6 out of control kids touching everything and knocking stuff off the racks and screaming at the top of their lungs that they have "GO TO THE BATHROOM!!!!"

Well dont worry then! Wal-Mart has 36 checkout lanes that is open 24 hours to accomodate the average guy thats "in a hurry" and doesnt have time to wait in line behind the 110 year old blue haired woman with a coupon for everything in her cart, change purse in hand, EAGERLY waiting to pay with those "Inconvenient" pennies and nickles, only to find that something MUST be wrong with the checker that "Rang it up wrong".

But its okay! All the employees are ready at the drop of the hat to assist you at one of the ten items or less lanes....have over ten items? Like maybe 20 or hey! Even a FULL cart!! Come on through!!

And lets not forget about after your wonderful experience, you wont make it out the door before the towers strategically placed on either side of the exits starts to blow all kinds of bells and whistles and a wonderful screech like a banshee's mating call!!

Yes, at Wal-Mart, we aim to please!

As much as I hate the place, I wish I didn't have to shop there. I always try to go at odd times so that there is less of a hassle. I wish I made more money and didn't have to, but I can't justify paying $3.99/lb for something like boneless chicken breast at Safeway when it is always $1.99 or less at wally world.

I think it has to do with the surrounding area too. I used to live in Aurora and you couldn't pay me to visit a walmart there again. Where I live now is never anywhere near that bad.

I only go there for ammo and maybe some targets. The trick for me is to use the back way in to the parking lot, enter through the tire center, and check out in sporting goods. They're great if you know the shortcuts.

Not exactly. Just like any store they have good deals and bad ones. I will not shop for food there on a bet.

I do look for closeouts and do buy jeans there. Kind of like Target. Some sale items are okay but day to day items are way overpriced. I rarely shop at Safeway for food.

I do this exact same thing... most of the time that's the only reason I go to Walmart- but sometimes I need other sh*t and have to brave the Mongol Hordes.... Luckily the Evergreen Walmart is relatively "normal" when it comes to customers. There are times where the white trash tide is pretty high though.

When i first moved up here before i got my ccw i would open carry everywhere lots of weird looks but no problems ever.....well one day my wife our baby and i were shopping at platte walmart i was walking through the bean isle when i felt someone super close behind me i thought it was my wife so i turned and saw this little crackhead looking guy about an inch away from me ......i stopped dead and pivoted the gun away from him he was so close he bumped into me and as he did that he mumbled "nice gun" and RAN away.....it freaked me out i stopped oc for like a month and have bought a serpa holster for when i do....

im not much of a fighter so no face punching for me...lol
