Crazy Things We Humans Do

In the spirit of the recent hurricane and remembering when I used to go surfing and get kick out of the water only hours before she arrived. To those that do crazy things that no other animal would think of I dedicate this thread to them.

I was just talking to my wife about how dumb we were as teenagers. I grew up in FL and we would have hurricane/tropical storm keg parties and "ride it out" hammered.

My fiance went to college in Florida and has some good stories about riding out storms completely tore up.

The constantly worried about being prepared side of me wouldn't let me do that.

Growing up on the gulf coast of Texas, the only time we had decent waves to try surfing on was when a hurricane was headed in. What else would you expect people to do? Those kind of opportunities only came around once or twice a year. [Coffee]
