My grandfather passed away saturday night after suffereing way to long from cancer, age and so on. He has been ready to go but just couldnt, he is finally out of pain!!! No more beaches for him!

One of the most eloquent Homage's to a vet I have ever read. Very nice.

I suppose when my dad passes he will be keeping the hills above Camp Hale secure when your Grandfathers decide to go on a ski trip.

My wife lost her grandfather earlier this year and he was a tail gunner on a B-17 (maybe B-29, can't recall). Just like I told her, he was a great man and very lucky to have lived and survived a very tough war. As much as you will mourn his loss, celebrate his life. I thank your grandfather for his service and securing a future for me and my family. God bless. [Salute]
