View Full Version : "...minimize references to Al-Qaeda.”

From FoxNews and the NYT:
The Obama administration has issued talking points for officials in observance of the tenth anniversary of the Sept 11, 2001 terror attacks.
One of them is to “minimize references to Al-Qaeda.”
Another talking point instructed American officials overseas to seek to universalize the commemorative day by noting: “We honor all victims of terrorism, in every nation…whether in New York or Nairobi, Bali or Belfast, Mumbai or Manila, or Lahore or London.”They just can't come out and say "The US was attacked by Muslim extremists on Sept 11, 2001." Even the state department briefer discussing the guidelines referred to the date as "nine one one."
At the same time, Obama administration officials caution that public commemorations here should not cast the United States as the sole victim of terrorism, an argument underscored by killings and maimings from extremist attacks overseas.
Yeah? I don't recall any other countries being attacked on 9/11. Do you?
Fucksticks. I really, really dislike this president and those that defend his administration. Really.

Who do we say then? Bad men? Here's a cookie, go sit in the corner we don't want to make the terrorist mad again, we wouldn't want them to win.

Well obviously the US is not the only victim of terror...but trends could show that the victims are westernized/Christian countries, or westerners/Christians/Jews, and so on in not so western countries...so yes I feel for all the other victims
...we were also attacked by Muslim Extremists on 9/11 and that should be allowed to be pointed out...
Just my opinion anyway

Morons make me want to spew chunks with this crap.
This is akin to not referencing the Japanese at Pearl Harbor or the Germans at Malmedy.
Yes, let's dishonor the victims of 9/11 by saying the Boogy Man killed them instead.
I swear the Clown in Chief is hell bent on putting his Muzzie brothers first.
2012 cannot get here soon enough!
On a different note:
A survey released today stated that over 50% of Muzzies in America feel they are Muzzies first and Americans second.
Excuse me?
We are Americans FIRST and if you feel contrary to that GET THE F¥CK OUT OF MY COUNTRY!
I think this is a very dangerous trend.

This is to be expected, when the administration refuses to use the word terrorist, except when referring to Conservatives and Tea Partiers.

No no no no no. Muslim FUNDAMENTALISTS. They are the "Religion of Peace"... with their idea of peace being a world free of infidels where everyone follows Allah, achieved by killing or converting all nonbelievers. The ones setting up IED's, blowing up civilians, decapitating POWs, shooting up churches, stoning 15yo girls for hanging out with a boy from the wrong tribe, cutting off hands of thiefs, etc. are NOT "extremists" or "radicals," they are fundamentalists... merely following the word of the Quran. That guy in your office that prays in the back room 3 times a day but hasn't tried to blow you up (yet), he's the "radical" Muslim.

Let them believe what they wish.
If I hired a someone who insisted they had to pray 5 times a day, I would say go for it. But there goes your lunch break. And, you cannot do it on my property.

If someone applied to my company and they were obviously a Muslim, I wouldn't hire them. I don't care how qualified they are. They would also be fired on the spot if I caught them praying to Allah.

So we just agree, and handle it in different ways. No worries.
This news is doubleplusungood comrades.
Pretty much every man in history of the world, starting about 150 years ago, has been a pedophile by today's standards. There are better arguments than that.

Like all the rest he listed?
That's why I didn't mention them in my critique.

Wait, what other arguments? The only one was that he was a pedophile. So was everyone else at the time. Hell, Lot banged his own daughters.

I don't think the pedophile thing was specifically the point here.
I see 1 pedophile reference (in red). The rest are bold... and believe me, there are more bad marks on his record than what is listed.
Mohammed was a sick twist: slept with any woman he could steal, supported slavery, bathed with/fondled little girls, murdered, stole...you name it. Not making this stuff up...it is in the Koran. Not sure how you can follow a guy like that. Bring that stuff up and the libs call you a racist or scream 1st amend. Funny how they don't defend other religions like that.
You're totally right. I'm up WAY passed my bed time. I'm going to be worthless at work tomorrow.

Fucking softies. I hate what's happening to our country. Thus why I think so highly of you fellas, honestly.
I'm going to say it before N8tive this time! Worst President ever.... Carter smiles!
I will say I thought something different when I read the name of this thread... While I was working with US Army Intelligence, my Lieutenant told me "Unless you have a 8-10 Reliability source, and more than one, do not use the term Al Qaeda in your briefings of attacks for the week... it will spin up people in the wrong direction. 90% of attacks on our forces are not AQ." But fuck, when we mentioned 9/11, the Madrid Train Bombing, The Heathrow Plot, etc. we were not afraid to call a spade a spade and shout Al Qaeda did this! I hate this administration and their talking out the side of their mouths. Terrorists attacked us. No asshole, Islamic Terrorists attacked us! I don't see Branch Davidians hijacking planes, dropping off explosive laden back packs, and planting roadside bombs. Call me racist, but I have a healthy distrust for anyone who prays facing east 5 times a day that includes the words "Allah-au-akbar."
A B2 dropping it ordnance here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaaba on 9/11 would be perfect.
and, then...we blow the fuckers up!!!

I'd rather this happen there:

B2 is too quiet, they'll just blow up and not know what hit them... this way they'll go: "What is that?" BO-bo-boo-boom!

Yes, wave after wave of B52s carpet bombing the Arab countries has a certain appeal. However, I would love to see a B83 bomb go off leaving only a mushroom cloud to remember Kaaba...a fitting last memory to Abraham's bastard child and the centuries of scum that came out of that place.

Haha, had to google what a B83 was... but once we use a nuke it's game over... however, if we just stopped with all this spending over there and pulled the troops out- but continued with the money being spent we could utilize many GBU-43/B Massive Ordinance Air Blast bombs... aka the MOAB (cleverly named by the USAF as the "Mother Of All Bombs"). It's the largest non-nuclear, conventional air delivered explosive device- in fact, it can't be delivered on a normal attack/fighter aircraft, instead they have to push it out of the back of something like a C-130 or C-17.

That survey question is kind of rigged in the first place.
Playing devil's advocate a little: I'm pretty sure any Christian worth their salt would say they're Christian first and American second as well if they had to pick.
To be fair, our nation's laws are much more in-line with Christian morals and beliefs than those of the Muslims so it isn't such a horrible thing in the latter case.

I understand and respect your point Hood but there is one glaring difference.
Christianity is a religion.
Islam is a Theocracy, a religion and system of government within one.
Big difference, while we are a nation of laws and values based on Christian principles and beliefs we are not bound by Christian governance.
