View Full Version : Glock 22 mags fit a Glock 27?
Cdnn has Glock 22 mags for $18.99 they are asian 31 rounds. Are these good mags? And will they fit my Glock 27?
The mags are hit and miss for some folks, I'd keep them strictly on range duty. Yes, any .40 cal Glock mag will work in your G27.
Run away from anything but OEM mags.
Run away from anything but OEM mags. Bummer, then I can't make a assault weapon out of my 27.

Glock 22 and 23 mags will fit your G27. Arrendondo makes mag extensions to add capacity. In 40 cal, the extensions (with a new +10% Wolfe mag spring) will give you a 20 round capacity, 19 reloadable if the slide is forward.
A glock 26 on the other hand will work with their G18 31 round mag. Have no idea why one would want to do that, but hey, it still works.
Oh ya... The make 9mm conversion barrels for the G27 too. Tada.

I ran a G22 15 round mag in my fathers G27 and my G23 and it seemed to feed fine. Even the KCI mag that I had laying around did not give me any trouble but YMMV.

Glock now makes 22 round .40 cal mags, you can put a +2 extension to make them 24 rounders they run for around 25 bucks, a little more expensice but its a Glock mag not a korean one, I love them no problems.

Best place to buy?
I see that cdnn has them for $35. But they say for gen4 will they work in older glocks?

Just went to glockparts, seems they are now 39.95, but they do have them in stock along with the 31 round glock 18 mags, fast shipping and good service even better is that they are a colorado company. I would say jump on them before they run out we all know high cap mags are getting harder to get.

Yes the will work.
Seriously, lots of competition shooters have tested the Korean mags. They are puke machines just waiting to happen. Don't buy them, don't trust them, don't invest in them. They will let you down. Go OEM, or sooner or later suffer the wrath of the non OEM glock mag jam-o-matic.

Thanks for the advise. [Beer]
