This guy is a dick. Asked a simple question, couldn't get a simple response back, just a smart ass answer.

Not me thank God! Ha. Yeah there's always a dumbass out there. Thanks for the heads up.
Not me. I'm guessing you asked how many/what type of rounds were in the one can? And DH came back with some smartass answer about what does it matter, the cans are worth the $40?

I have found some deals, which is why I go back. But these retards need an etiquette lesson.

I asked a guy for the model number of a scope yesterday and he said, "Yes I still have that model for sale."

That sucks. I've found most people in the gun community have been very cool. You would think so, since you're dealing with other people that also have firearms....lol.
Armslist is the Craigslist of the firearm world. You can occasionally get a good deal from a decent person but more often than not you just end up dealing with some idiot.

Why is it that if something might be a good deal out there on Craigslist or Erape the description is vague and the picture that might be worth a 1000 words is worth a 1000 questions?
Works great but I do not have a way to test it.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic's.
"Minty" except for the caved in side and broken glass.
Very rare.
Doesn't run but the mechanic said it is only $50 to fix it.
Will be like new after you fix it (because I tore it up)
Bought it at an Estate sale.
Do not have the title but you can get one easy (right after you pay the bank twice what it is worth)
Saw one for sale for $500 so mine at $450 is a steal.
Limited edition, #16,286 out of 50,000.
Only AR ever made like this.
Hard to find SKS
Only needs a tune up, does not run.

And on and on and on...[Coffee]

I recently found a guy that wanted $200 for some 7.62 "brass case"
doesn't get much more vague than that...
but he was pretty reasonable once I contacted him, figured out quick it was 570 rounds of Yugo M67... I cited where I could get it online around $0.17/rnd, and said I'd give him $100 for it, since I wouldn't need shipping and he was <2 mi from my work, and he was agreeable... I'm not out to take advantage of anyone, but I'm not going to pay over retail, either...
I also bought a G20 from Armslist, was a good transaction- but I'm real quick to walk away if it doesn't feel right.
caveat emptor...

I have never done a successful deal on Armslist. Seemed like everyone spoke a different language or just didn't know shit about what they had. I haven't been back since I found COAR. I have done some good trades and sales here and met some cool dudes, learned a lot too.[Beer]

That sums it up. There is no accountability as you don't need to have a login, and as long as you change the way your ads look, nobody will know who you are.

what was the question and answer?
Q: What kind of ammo is it? What are the head stamps?
A: What does it matter its practically free.
Me: Garands don't like commerical ammo.
DH: Well either way it comes with the can.
So I flagged it from my computer and Iphone for being over priced, $13.33 per ammo can is too much.

GREAT Idea: Shoot a picture of your "item" for sale in low light, with a slower shutter speed, and just move the camera during the shot! Then the buyer can't cound the number of rounds in the can! ... GENIUS!!!

FWIW, I've bought and sold things on Armslist several times with no weird happenings. It's just another avenue for different items to buy, and different buyers to see your ad, though I love COAR BY FAR the most. No contest.
I'm the same way, if it doesn't feel right- walk away. Usually it's easy to sniff out the nonsense. Tons of grammar problems, or doesn't have much knowledge of the item, won't send pics, etc.
