Couldn't believe it myself but i shot these 3 little carp at the edge of a bunch of reeds in this canal about 10 yds. away. I saw one breaking the surface feeding on some algae at the top and when i shot and pulled the arrow back up sure enough there were 3 hanging off it. Probably never do this again in my life--

What do you do with the departed?

I used to "part" them, freeze them, and bury pieces with the seeds when I planted corn in the spring like the Native Americans did. Really, I did. I tried it for two years. I couldn't say it helped. My garden still sucked. [Bang]

Nice job BTW.

I've heard they're supposed to be great fertilizer--some guy in Wisc. I think it is freeze dries them, grinds them up and sells them for fertilizer--google it. pretty interesting actually.

I take mine to the zoo if they want them, and if not the farmers will take them.

Good shooting!

This summer I speared two trout in one strike with a frog gig. I didn't realize I had both until I pulled it out.

Been there, done that. How good it was.[Beer]

It's funny how they are all spread out on the arrow. It seems like they would have been all crunched up by the impact.
