Places to camp?

Thinking about going camping tomorrow night. Anyone have a good spot in the mountains, preferably southwest of Denver metro. A place that I can shoot and have a fire and be able to drive up to.

Thinking about going camping tomorrow night. Anyone have a good spot in the mountains, preferably southwest of Denver metro. A place that I can shoot and have a fire and be able to drive up to.

Check out this website under obviously the Colorado section. Climbers rarely stay in the South Platte or Lost Creek/Tarryall area.
Some of the best camping spots I have gone to are climbing areas and if there is not a lot of people responding to that particular area, it probably means folks dont venture there that often.
