We need the federal gubment to help to get guns off the streets.

Seems like they need to quit having 3:30 am parties with minors and a little more LE enforcement in Brooklyn, and quit jacking with legal law abiding gun owners.

"Carson City Sheriff Kenny Furlong said officers received a call about the gunfire and responded within minutes. He said the suspect was wounded and lying in the parking lot when they arrived at the scene."

So who shot him ? how did he end up wounded before the police got there ?

I think the story is missing a part... the part where a citizen stopped the shooting rampage by shooting the suspect.

Did anybody mention to Bloomingidiot that firearms are basically forbidden in NYC???

Oh SNAP! That statement contains common sense which escapes the likes of Bloomingidiot.

I caught that, I was trying to find another source to see if they explained it better. Either he shot him self or some one in the crowd helped him along? Also I am curious if he was maybe a spouse or something? Sounds like he "may" have been targeting the man and woman national guardsmen? Or maybe they posed the biggest threat in his mind? Bad situation and not a lot of info yet.

All I know is I am not attending late night parties or early morning BBQ's in Brooklyn for a while.

looks like he shot himself.

I think your right about why he shot the Guardsmen first... they represent the largest threat to stoping him at that time.

He shot himself.

"Police responded in minutes"...no shit? Lucky for them all the shooting was over by then.

I'm surprised it's considered so newsworthy that ONLY 40 people were shot in NYC on a long weekend...
