I have a colt 6721 that I am wanting to set up more as a KISS despite the heavy barrel...er....and the UBR stock currently on it. Anyway, I'm wanting to get a fixed rear sight and am wanting your opinions. I have only looked online at the daniel defense, troy, and larue sights and from the looks, i like the troy fixed sight the best. anybody have experience with these? thanks!

I've done as most folks have done, gone through several sets of sights to find what suits me best, you'll just have to try them out and see what ends up meeting your needs.
I have a D.D. Fixed front and rear and a Y.H.M. Rear fixed sight that I am going to put up in the for sale section. If you are interested in them, let me know.

Oops! I meant to put this in the sights thread.
Sideshow- I think I've got a rear larue lined up. Thanks for the input. Hopefully this will be the one that sticks!

Running the Maetech's on mine. I like the quick elevation change and flip up aspects of it.
If it is good enough for the boys in the 'Stan I think it will work for me.
Good stuff.

I hear this a lot and think it is funny. People always think that the stuff the military has is good and rugged. In reality, those sights suck. I don't know how many I have seen fall apart after a year of use.
Please forgive me rant and side bar on this thread. I am currently using the DD fixed rear sight. It is what my company provides. They are ok. The cool thing about them is it is set up like the A1 style rear sight. So less stuff going on to mess with. If I was going to try "KISS" as you say, I would look at getting the LMT style or just a straight carrying handle type sight. Either way good luck finding the stuff you like.
