HELP! I am planning on taking the jacket in the picture to the Sertoma Gun Show this weekend to get rid of it. Back when I was in the Army (mid-50's) such a jacket/coat was known as a "field jacket". Don't know what the current designation is. I'll toss in the proper liner for it and it does have a hood in the collar. Just looking for how much I should expect to get for it. Size is MENS small so it's still pretty good sized. NO, my name is NOT Burgess.
Thanks for the help!

Genuine, USGI M65 Field Jacket. Probably worth between $45 and $75 to the right person. Google it...plenty of pricing comes up.

I just gave $25 for one with liner, both in excellent shape,
The patches & stripes should bring up the value a little bit on yours.

I like that it has the liner too....

wore mine plenty of times under my BDU top back in the day.

Thanks for the help in my attempt to establish an approximate value/asking price. Now, we'll see if it will sell or trade at the gun show.[Beer]

I still have several of my M65's from my Army days, I love them for camping and what not. My first was just like yours, OD, but when I got patched I got one of the new fangled woodland versions. I like them so much that a few years ago I got a digital version (not genuine USGI since they aren't used anymore but good for camping).
