Oooohhh...One handed and BOMBS.

Bet we see the airplane scenario again.

1 bad hit (bomb) and you get 10 no shoots - plane goes down, everyone dies.

Well, I hit the damn bomb. Actually I screwed up something major on every stage but my last (stage 3). I'm pretty sure today was probably my worst match ever.

Did that too - it was my only "screwup" (sumbitch...I was even looking at it, telling myself just below the head, go for the -1s...beautiful hole in center mass of bomb) but I didn't have the best shots on the side swingers or the drop turners. Ah well. Once you hit the bomb, it's pretty much over. Not that I was ever in contention for anything other than "somewhere in the middle of the pack", but still. :D

I really enjoyed the stages today - some of the hardest we've run this year. The turning targets kill me consistently.

Sometimes I worry about having too much fun on the squad.

If you are not having fun/enjoying yourself, then something is wrong (like weapon malfunctions...[Rant1]).

Safety first and foremost, fun a close second.

Another nice turnout. 75ish shooters, and a healthy new shooter group. Unfortunately it was probably the last warm shoot of the year. Time to get used to shooting in coats and gloves again.

The match was great for a first timer like me. I really enjoyed the stages and the S.O.'s were helpful! Thanks for a great time! Can't wait for October's match!

I figured it was taking longer than usual because of all the extra seconds I racked up on the bomb stage. ;)

I started in Bay 3; I forget the exact scenario but I remember it had almost a mirrored setup from left to right and the shooter had to place their head against a barricade at start.

Great fun though...despite 1 FTN on the left...whoops.

Ambishot, I started in Bay 4, so we were not in the same group. I asked because one of the guys in my group was shooting for his first time as well.

I wasn't as far down the list in my class as I thought I'd be, but I can see how much better I would have fared had I not made stupid procedural mistakes.

Very nice shooting Warren. I saw you shoot the Bin Ladden stage I think.
