Anybody have experience night vision scopes or Colorado laws regarding their use? I am getting a lot of coyote visits to my property and down two chickens.

We have people come into our shop all the time looking to outfit to shoot coyotes at night. As far as the legal extent i'm not 100% positive. I heard someone mention that coyote season is coming up.

On private land you can hunt coyotes with artificial light at night with permission of the land owner.

On public land you can hunt coyotes with artificial light at night after obtaining a permit from the local district wildlife manager.

Get an expensive one if you do. Night vision comes in 2 flavors; damn this thing was expensive and kinda sucks, and this cheap ass PoS isn't usable.

Also, human eye reflection and coyote look the same. Have a 100% solid ID before you shoot.

IceAxe: we keep night vision in stock if you want to come take a look through the different devices and get more of hands on experience.

I got one and think the others are temporally out giving assistance to calving operations. Not the usual response to howl.
