Just picked this one up last week, its a SA built in 1945, think the bayonet is a repro tho. Next is a M1 carbine or a 1903

Your bayonet is in the post WWII M5/M5A1 Style. Check the cross guard for a maker's name or an Acceptance stamp.

Not that simple here either. China is making repro copies of our WW2 and post-war bayonets. They can be found on ebay.

No, got it from a co-worker for $400, he thought it was a ”hunting rifle”....yea a nazi hunting rifle

CMP, or a CMP Forum member. There's lots of 'em there. Try Bill Ricca or Kollector03 for starts.
