Here's what I made from the Double D Armory lower! I love how clean it is on the right side. I also got one of the Larue RAT stocks which is pretty sweet and I feel compliments the lower very well. Ambi safety, charging handle, and mag release are also among the more unique features of this rifle.

Thanks! I've got some DuraCoat left over, and am thinking of doing maybe some metal mags, or the cover on that OPMOD optic on the AR. Danged stuff is time limited.
It's sad that I can't get out to the range often enough, and am reduced to playing with my firearms.

BTW, the can is actually not FDE, it's Titanium, but the pic makes it look like it matches. So, yeah, I'm going with that!

Sweet lookin' rifle! I have my 9mm AR set up very similar. I ditched the quad-rail recently and installed a keymod hand guard. It severely lightened up the rifle and makes it very pleasant to run & gun. BTW, I might be lookin' to go to the range on Sunday, I'll throw you a text.

The rig is finally complete. Used magpul flat dark earth Duracoat. It didn't match the magpul butt stock so it got a coat to. Seems to be holding up pretty good, except at the shell deflector, but I think that that can be expected.

I had too much FDE on this one so did a little reconfiguring and ended up here. The empty 300 Blackout cases are hell on the shell deflector. I may take some sort of black Teflon piece and epoxy it on the shell deflector.

Just take a piece of the loop side of some Velcro and put it on your deflector. It lasts a LONG time and is easy to replace if needed. All mine wear this stylish accessory and it works like a champ.

I like it. Not as solid as m4 stock. Either is as solid as m1a buttstock if you need to smash in some skulls :)

I'd like to do Appleseed.Should be a couple at CRC this spring. Have not checked schedule for several months. Am planning on taking 2-3 minions to a two day event in spring.
